This is my recording of a good old flowing water/river/stream effect.

Recorded with a zoom h6 using the xyh-6 mic. I recorded 4 different rivers (names are: salzach, inn, kirnitsch and a small river without a name) and mixed them together using ableton live.

This is a stereo recording of a rather large waterfall. A sony pcm-d100 was placed just above and to the left of the waterfall on a stone piling.

A 1 minute narrated sound walk from my apartment to the seaside, crossing a heavy traffic road, capturing some sounds of kids playing, sea sound, wind sound, in a very cloudy day.

We got in the van and drove down a rural road in arkansas, united states. On the side of that road, we found whittington creek. We continued and found where this creek enters a man-made underground tunnel in the city of hot springs. This sound is used in the beginning of a 7-minute video of our adventure:http://elingreso. Field recordings extracted from videos i took while travelling on a vaporetto (small public transport canal boat) along the grand canal. You can hear the water, the engine revving as the boat criss-crosses the canal from one stop to the next and the(mostly english)chatter of other passengers on the boat. On "venice2" horns are blown by other vessels and someone says at the end "i'm getting off the boat". I have joined 2 tracks on this one and there is a small gap, but with the right equipment that can be edited out. All in all very evocative of the busy atmosphere in venice, even in march (2012).

This is a first attempt to record sound underwater, i build a small hydrophone according to the instruction gave us by digifishmusic, i could probably make it better but all considered i'm pleased whit it. The hydrophone was placed in a small river near where i live, just below the water surface but unfortunately it kept bouncing against the rocks so it's a bit noisy. Enjoy!.
